PCA Autocross in the GT3
A bad day if Autocross still beats a day doing anything else. I had So much fun at the event in Lake Elsinore this week. Huge thanks for Derrick for being an amazing guide.

The 1st Gen 4Runner is pretty useless without a working rear window / Tailgate. I recommend you service the tailgate of your 1st gen 4runner once a year. It's a 30 minute task that can prolong the life of your truck for years and years to come. CLP cleaner / lubricant : amzn.to/4auMfRW Silicone Adhesive: amzn.to/3Q4bx1g

The biggest weak point of the Kendon Trailer is the casters. This is how I maintain mine and plan to do so once a year going forward.

A fun little key mod for your Porsche Key
Thank You for this good tutorial, and btw there is also writen the battery model on that black plastic (don't need to pull out the socket to find out what kind of battery you need). :)
Thanks
Hi there! I’ve been searching the web nonstop. Our touchscreen, lights and horn stopped working.
@@ElizabethLavandera it’s either a fuse or a cable had been disconnected. Should be easy to figure out and correct.
Our ‘87 emergency/Parking break wire broke and we can’t get a replacement. Looked everywhere, even online in Japan. Any ideas anyone ???
Very Nice! I seriously regret selling my 93 NighHawk 750! Was a great bike, reliable and a classic..
20 mins for the entire process, that is amazing! Does this mod void the warranty? Planning on doing this for my 992 GTS
That’s nothing my 85 Nighthawk has only 13k on it. You got a nice looking bike though.
Thanks…!!!
I have an 85 Nighthawk 650 and I am 5’11” 230lbs, it is a perfect bike for me. If I did get another it might be this 750.
Sorry to disagree The very first thing you should put on your bike is GPS pod and you Will save 25percent on your insurance forget anything else first protect your bike from being stolen.....go ahead with everything else first and maybe they will thank you for your add-ons when they take it from you... I can't believe nobody says anything about it....... protect your baby All the way.........
Thanks for sharing
Do you know how to install the glass? I inherited a 89.my brother took the glass out when he had it repainted
Ooph. I’ve never removed it completely. But I’m sure there’s a diagram somewhere. It would definitely be a bit of a challenge I’m sure.
@@AverageCarGuy Thanks- ill get a buddy or two to think it though and help install it.
It’s a normal noise
What is the green light flashing?
Any chance of someone knowing the brand and model of the windscreen?
I surely do miss Hollywood 😁and the beach. The teen years were fun in the early 90s
Man, I just installed my koso clutch and no matter how I adjust the cable, it’s really hard to pull. My basket is flush how you mentioned. Not sure what I’m doing wrong
I found a 97 in my area in relatively good condition for 2k. You think I should go for it? Im really looking for something reliable i can actually ride around in
If it runs and the carbs are clean the $2k is a good deal. I’d check the forks for leaks and tires and brakes too. Heck maybe I’ll do a video on how to buy a used bike without getting screwed. :)
Thanks
I expect a 600k plus Ferrari to be much more durable than that
Sooo helpful, thank you!!
Lane splitting is inconsiderate and dangerous - drive better
thoughts on one of these for a total learner / new rider, anyone? have experience driving and working on quick, light cars but near zero <4 wheel time ive heard rhetoric about +600s [especially older machines] having a power curve that can be dangerous for noobies. is it the type of power that will bite the hand of an overzealous driver? also, 5 speeds instead of 6, this true? longer gears and a flat torque curve don't actually sound that awful. Are they chain or shaft drive? ive heard of both, but being able to change the final drive is also incredibly appealing and shaft drive sounds too involving to bother with. What about valve lashing? my research says they're hydraulic lifters; do they ever get sticky [90s jdm cars] and tap? is it worth taking them out and cleaning them if they do? I get that it's a honda, but are there any niche maintenance quirks about them that needs knowing about or paying attention to? Are there a lot of non-interchangeable parts between years?
Thanks for video. I just krate kicked mine on accident on my duke
I’m just curious, how long did the install actually take?
About 1.5 hours total. That was with doing the video.
@@AverageCarGuy thank you sir. I really appreciate the info. This guy told me it would take five hours. I didn’t think it would take that long.
@@patrickj5731 the hardest part is plugging in the connectors. I would just find a nice and comfortable place to work. Get good lighting and maybe a magnifying glass and take your time with it. But it will not take 5 hours. Not even close.
@@AverageCarGuy thanks for the info. I really appreciate that with the few modifications the car is a lot more enjoyable to drive. That being said it was nothing wrong with it before I like it a little more now.😆
The original tail is much better..
what is the link for the tool you use ?
amzn.to/4c38OO1
After watching this video, the best tip is don't do this job if you don't know what you're doing and don't have the correct tools.
bought a '84 700 S (CB750SC) for cheap and to restore it. cant wait to ride it
can you imagine hitting the number to replay that message? She talks to him in current time. I saw her at his roast.
He's a sweetheart ain't he? I'd like to say I have a brother like him, but my brother wasn't nearly as bad with his girls.
Thanks for the video man! Could you share the part no of this?
Thank you so much, this was the video I was looking for. I changed my battery thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏❤️
My 86 is at the mechanic now getting some new and some used steering and front suspension parts from a 94. It will probably be going back to get the rear end and leaf springs from that 94 later.
Just got the same bike as my first bike 2 days ago 1991 same color 22k miles I love it! All original parts amazing condition 1500!🏍😎🤘
Wow. Someone call the cops, this guys stole that bike. 😂 Good for you! That’s an amazing deal.
If you hadn't used the wires in the dash for the amp. Could you have run the light bar into those wires?
I'm doing a similar install. I installed two red led's on the back canopy of my 2024 Evolution. You said you ran the wires from the top then down the post and into the battery compartment. From the bottom of the post how did you enter the battery compartment? Thanks in advance.
imagine tasking the entire world right to your house LOL smh people arent bright
my fist bike was a yamaha venture 1200 lol rode it all over no helmet or registration till i wizened up
im 240 5' 11 and the cb650c will go 80 all day and pulls huge hills as fast as i want to go no issue
i agree i just bought a 81 cb650c and want to bobber it so bad but it only has 6400miles and is near mint no dings dents scratches and hardly any rust very minimal surface rust
What size tires?
Thank you
And here I was trying to jimmy the whole cover upwards using the key, like a previous Porsche worked (991.1).
🔥
Here for the cheekpods 😅
Well i wonder why she didnt answer her phone, thoughtless little retard! Lol Alec is the worst
Great bike congrats. I have 92 bought with 6k miles on it and now its at 25k. I live in Boston and weather gets rough here and I ride in rain etc.Cut the story short exhaust rusted to pieces with holes all over specially underneath the bike.I ordered Delkovic full exhaust for 410 and weighs 5lb vs stock 55lb.Needless to say it transformed the bike now its agile like a sport bike.I changed handlebars, shimmed the carbs and upholstered the seat with brown real leather.Overall its been dead reliable.I also do my tire changes sprockets and chain. This bike has not been in a shop.Since I bought it I also purchased pristine Vulcan 1500 classic basically Harley road king copy but whole better quality...love the vulcan too with cobra pipes. Now I am looking to buy Royal Enfield 350 desert classic.Love RE as well. Anyway enjoy the bike
Thanks for the great content about your gt3 and the mods you installed! After seeing you struggle a bit with the diffuser I tried installing the valve controller without removing the diffusor. You can reach the valves quite easily from the sides if you lay down next to the car. You can get the install done in a few minutes that way. Maybe useful info for future gt3 owners that want to install this mod. Next up I’ll try the rs shift paddles aswell, thanks again 👍🏻
Yeah. That makes sense. Also, it almost doesn’t make sense to mount the unit at the top, they could very easily mount it down below by the exhaust somewhere and essentially make the whole install less than 10 minutes. The valve controller is easily the best money you can spend on this car.
Thank you!!!!!!
